Try Something Different

We are all creatures of habits. We get into our routines and stick with them. The foods we eat and the restaurants we go to or order in from. The television shows we watch. Sometimes we are in a good routine with our health, nutrition, and exercise. Other times we fall off a bit and don’t exercise for days, weeks, or even months at a time. It is always good to change things up from time to time and get out of the same routine. What if you introduced one new habit a month into your routine? What if you decided to reach out to one old friend each month to say hello and catch up on things? What if you always submitted entries to win a prize?How about if you plan to get out of your comfort zone and take one adventure every six months. Maybe go hiking, kayaking, skiing, or something that you don’t normally do. Change it up, add some excitement and new experiences into your life. Maybe you used to read but haven’t picked up a book in years. Why not introduce some reading back into your life? Do you set goals for the year? Perhaps creating one business, personal, health, and family goal would be a good way to improve the different areas of your life and give you the best chance to have a great year. Writing things down is a productive way to be intentional and help ensure that you accomplish the new things you want to introduce into your daily, weekly, monthly, and annual plan. It is time to try something different. It is time to break out of your cycle and create some improvements.
